Seems to have much more accurate street values there.

And $7,400 seems a bit too high to me. Unless its advertised at $7,400 with the intention of haggle room.

I bought my '00 black integra @ 112k in Nov '07 for $8k. Looking back, I paid too much for it but I just wanted to get my shopping over with.

It depends all on what you're willing to deal with in terms of the small imperfections.

If the car has perfect paint and the owner has detailed records of his service, then I guess you could go over KBB.com.

Generally speaking, KBB.com undervalues Integras, especially well kept integras.

Got mines purchased just today, 2001 gsr 40,000 miles for $7000.00 flat, original everything immaculately kept. dealer certified services like off the show room floor. Would i pay more probably cause it looks worth another G easily. But i GOTS the gift of GAB so i drooped it from original price which i won't say for original owner getting ALL miffed at me. LOL! SssssssssssssssssHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......... ........................

P.S> it's all about YOU feeling good about your purchase, not everybody else, you the one gotta live with it. GO drop some coin on it and call it a day.

If the interior and body are close to mint condition, and there are no major mechanical issues with the car, I'd shoot as close to $6500 as possible.

A 2001 with 40k miles @ $7k? Good deal. You must be in the midwest.

That's another thing I've noticed. Integras in the midwest go for a lot cheaper than here on the west coast. I looked for Integras for almost a full year and I couldn't find anything that wasn't beat up in one way or another. In the full year I found at most, 10 cars that were worth buying that weren't salvage.

why is there a phobia against salvage titles? actually let me clarify that, theft recoveries. cars that have been hit hard i totally understand.

Because salvage titles are hard to get a loan for, you'll have to haggle if you ever have to deal with your insurance and from my understanding of it, there isn't a way to tell one type of salvage from another except to take someone's word for it.

true and true

if someone needs a loan you can't look at salvage {do you guys actually bother with loans on $5000 cars?}

there also is no way to tell one salvage from another. carfax often gives you clues as to what happened as well as a good eye. theft recoveries often have mismatched parts and cars that have been hit hard often don't get repaired correctly when a salvage title is presented. remember salvage means total. someone cashed out the insurance and it's very likely a real body shop didn't do a major repair.

FunkDrSpot, Not the midwest but here in hawaii. it's just a rock in the middle of the ocean not much miles to put on it. Now RUST is what your looking for out here! Thankfully mines doesn't have any and the paint is like NEW.
