on the elimination round agaisnt the brothers car, on the big end of the track the wastegate came off and was laying on the valve cover. the funny thing is the same thing happend to them prior to elimination rounds. they were gonna shut it down for the day but decided to put it back and run it. and ended up winning!

Yeah, top wategate fell off at the top of the track. Had pretty good short track times all day 1.57 60 4.39 330 6.5 1/8th but everytime chris (rsx owner) hit 3rd gear he'd just spin like crazy.. Still only on 30 PSI in 3rd, if we can figure out how to get the car to hook on the big end we can crank to boost to like. . . 50PSI or so.. If anyones got any ideas I'm open to em ..

we did lower the boost in third and it went slower.. made two passes with lower boost and it went 10.2 instead of 10.0 . . It actually ran faster with him granny shifting into 3rd and trying to pedal it out. The car made 680@22 PSI (Mustang Dyno) we did a bunch of pulls on the dyno at 26 and 30 PSI but it spun the whole way through so no telling how much it was making. It was a mess cleaning up all the chunks of tire around the dyno.. The cars seen 55PSI but we have no idea how much power it makes up there can't get it to hook on the rollers.

Sorry JJ I was so preoccupied I probably didn't even notice you were talking to me.. A.D.D man

Next time out we're gonna throw our go pro cameras on the sides and watch the front and rear tires/suspention travel.. I think when he hits third its just throwin the car back and its lifting off the front tires. I got the engine/electrical/tuning stuff down, but I'm a total newb at suspention/chassis stuff so I'm trying to learn as I go.. So any ideas, theories, concepts, books, articles, anything that you guys think could give me some ideas and or direction please feel free to share ..

I would try two things first, I would stiffen the back springs tight, then I would buy the wieghted beadlocks like Tony has on his rims to add some wieght on tires , but is tough and its alot of trail and error with the suspension tuning.

There is no need for that not one bit... Just have to play with the suspension... Beadlocks won't solve anything...
