who has done it and are there any tips? I think it might be full of BS so imma drop it and clean and install a new pump.

It's simple and straight forward.

 

so how is it done? I assume it IS pretty easy, but I just want to know if there is anything to look out for or be careful with.

 

its easy just did it the other day. take out the storage containers in the back take out the one bolt and 2-3 lines might be little stuck. go under the car from the drivers side and disconnect all the lines there's 1 fat and I think 2 smaller ones above it and a couple below it. its not hard just look at a picture of the gas tank outside of the car to be able to get an idea of where everything is. hardest part is forgetting a line and ripping it out the car lol. forgot too add the gas tank is only held up by 2 straps
