Default Band saw blade

I am looking to buy a new blade for the saw I just bought that measures 10' 4" x 3/4". I got a couple prices locally for between $50 and $55 and was wondering if that seemed like a good price. I am having trouble finding blades my size online to compare. If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Also has anyone ever had any luck cutting and welding a blade to fit?

Give specialty saw a try in Conn. 800-225-0772
I get my bandsaw and coldsaw blades from them . You can also try mcmaster.com I you only want to buy 1 at a time then go with mcmcaster but I would try specialty anyway. Make sure you get a bimetal type blade and the right tpi for the material thickness your cutting.

When I went to machine shop school we always would cut to size. Then grind, weld, grind, and anealled the blade.
