how do i remove the tb cable off from the fire wall (eg) and replace with a b series one ?

tell me .. whats the point of a fourm if you cant even get help ? .. initially, my first reaction was to come here and ask a question. thinking i would get an answer immediately. but no im a pointless *** human.

 

u can use d series throttle cables on b series swaps... only thing i ever had to change was the bracket itself that mounts to the intake manifold...

 

reach under the dash and disconnect the cable end from the gas pedal. go to the engine bay and twist the weird handle looking part up against the fire wall sideways untill you can pull the cable out.

 

jeeze, *******, you bumped 3 times in 40 minutes. What, do you think we're all getting paid to sit here and wait for people to post asinine questions that they could answer themselves with 2 minutes of looking at something to figure out how it works? And then you have the nerve to flame the people who you want to help you?

Every day I *nicely* answer 3-4 questions that are asked over and over and over again, and I usually don't complain, but this just pisses me off.

Anyway, you get under the motherhumping dashboard with a flashlight take off the turdburgling end of the throttle cable from the pedal, get under the frakking hood, and twist the plastic doojobbyfrink right the hell off of the firewall. Then you pull it out. I figured it out in less than 5 minutes the first time I looked at one.

I'll leave the TB end as an exercise to the reader. If you can't figure that out, close the hood and call a towtruck.
