under hood bolts

Default under hood bolts

anyone know what size/thread pitch the underhood bolts are (i.e. rad. bracket bolts, headlight bolts, fender bolts ect. i want to replace everything with stainless steel hardware.

its easyest to take one in to get it matched i made many many trips to the hardware store to get new bolts cause they gave me the wrong sizes or thread

Most of them are M6x1.0 that are the 10mm heads.

In my experience, hardware stores carry those bolts, but the head sizes are wildly different from what honda uses. Nothing like having a 13mm bolt or a 9mm bolt on a honda to annoy the **** out of you.

I used to have a '70 Chevrolet Nova... real fun to work on.. every single bolt was a different, standard size. They even used different bolt sizes on some of the same parts.
