$1,000,000

all depends on where you get it from and what kind of set up. d series should be under 500 for everything, b series closer to 1000

Yeah right now it's a buyers market for anything. My buddy has a full b16 drop out for an EF and he only wants 700 bucks for everything and can't sell it for anything.

You should be able to get some really good deals on things your car as some people are getting desperate for money

i don't know where u guys at, but i have great luck with craigslist, dallas tx. u have to becareful with it, i would meet at a public place and close to the highway.
i bought my 90 crx with swap in it already for 1800 lot of upgrade. and i bought a 97 prelude for 2000, perfect condition everything works, its all stock, i bought the car for my wife. i bought a lot more other stuff like parts, iphones, sold few things on there.
anyway, my friend bought a b16a full swap on there for 1000. my other friend bought a lsvtec for 700 on there. gsr for 600(it was a steal).
long story short. but there's one thing if u buying the shell for 800 and u going to spend a 1000 for swap. why just buy one with the swap already. i love to do my own work, but cheaper make sense to me. good luck.

^ Personally I'd rather do my own work on the car to make sure I know it was done correctly and not half assed someplace I didn't see until it was to late.

800 for a shell only?

must be in really goood condition and an Si at least...with full interior in good condition and no ricer or any other mods...

to me its expensive considering i got a runing STD for 300 bucks with a bad rack&pinion and i got a 90 dx with a blown HG for 500(yeah that one was mostly cause of the interior condition)

a stock crx with original d15b and no mods done to it should go if ANYTHINGG for 1500
if it has a swap then expect to pay more...dont show interest if someone has a shell theyre not using or are gona build theyre running a risk of rust or something else happening to the car + a parking spot...people get tired of seeing the same car parked on a spot for a while and will much rather have some money in their pocket and the parking space...if the shell is in good condition the most i'd pay is 500 gooluck with the buy...

i picked up my 90 dx crx for $50. seller was my ex girlfriends dad. he said it didnt run, i bought it. looked over it and saw timing was off. as soon as title was in my name we fixed it and drove her home. it was missing front and rear bumpers but i didnt care. drove her in stock dx condition for about 6 months then swapped in an LS. i bout a rear ended LS Teggy for $100. took the rear brake conversion and motor and little misc. stuff. and the rest is history.

just keep an eye out for good deals, might be better to find a non-running car like i did. and it might only have simple stuff wrong with it.

okayy, thank you guys, im 16 and dont have a license yet so i figure i would get a project car and just build it myself, my older brother had a crx si and i really liked it, it was fast and the handling was amazingg, ill keep my eye out on the deals though, i guess 800 does sound a little too much for just a shell anyway, ill probably just save up and buy one with a b-16 swap if i can find one

lol im 16 too and i have 2 hatchs right now an STD and a DX...
from what i see you dont have much income so its pointless wasting your money on things you dont really need or use for now...yes hondas are amazing cars but im not too sure about your first car...maybe you wanna get something a little more reliable that can keep its value and isnt hard to sell that will drive you to work and back you save some money and have more experience driving then you sell it and with the money you got saved you can get yourself a better car (a honda preferably since its what you like) ...and so on...thats what ive done since i was 15
i would suggest a corolla(stick if you want) it will serve you for as long as you need it...and when the time comes you fix it up a little and sell it for the same price or a little more than you got it for because theyre very reliable and people are always looking for them for a basic transportation or DD
trust me you dont wanna throw the little bit of money you have into your first car its not to smart...good luck and get your license asap

hah fly out here and buy my running hatch with lots of sick parts stock motor. Lol I joke. But yeah $800 for a shell is a lil high unless its a rust free si with all wiring intact and perfect interior no rice and maybe some nice suspension not just cheap or cut coils to lower it. The front should be around 3" higher then the rear if it has no motor and trans and its on good suspension something to look at also.
