10 sec All motor passes from the Westcoast
Update 10/10/09: Went out the track and ran a 10.79@127
Update 9/27/09: Ran a new best time of 10.81@127

We finally got into the 10's! We did it twice so it wasn't a fluke, a 10.98 @ 124 and a 10.99 @ 125. This is the first time at the track with the new setup so I know that it has alot more left in it. The first run off the trailer was an 11.09. Every clean pass I had was under 11.1.
My 60fts need some work, I was getting 1.63 to 1.73 all day, last season I was getting mid to high 1.5's all the time. Once I get those dialed in we are hoping to see some even quicker times. We are heading out to the track again Friday for some more testing and then we race at Pinks All Out on the 14 and 15.
Setup consists of:
K24
stock 99mm stroke
BME Rods
CP pistons 14:1
IPS K10's
Kinsler 62mm ITB's
Advanced Street Performance Header
330ish cfm head
PPG Straight Cut Dog 1-2 with stock type s 3-4
Car weighs 2100 with driver

A huge congrats guys on being the first and only 10sec all motor street car in the northwest!
I'm super happy for you guys, all your hard work and dedication has finally paid off!
Considering this was the first passes of the year on the new motor, the track prep was poor last night, and your 60's were only 1.63 and a terrible 1.73 on the 10.9 passes, you are definitely going to get quicker.
Once we get back to the track on a night when it's actually VHT'd, you should get back into the 1.5's like last year.
I think she's got a 10.7 in her once we get it dialed and make a few small changes to how the car is setup.

I knew I should have went to the TNT yesterday, would have been cool to see. You guys planning to go out on friday? Also not trying to take way from you accomplishment but didnt Saul run 10's a few years back in his street car?
Is that so? Everyone I have spoken with thought this was the first on the westcoast. Maybe we are mistaken. Can anyone confirm this?
EDIT: fixed, definitely not the westcoast, just northwest.

I knew we weren't the first in the 10's on the west coast but I don't know of any in the northwest. Does anyone else?
I think it is time for new slicks because as the temperature dropped the 60's went down hill but the times stayed the same.

Congrats Joel. This has been a long time coming. It is always good when you are the only import at the track then put up the same time as 90% of the domestic's. Hopefully I can make it tomorrow.
Hey congrats on your passes btw hope to see you in october at englishtown
