Default what kind of setup for 5 gens??

for my 5 gen i'm getting the alpine 7995, which is the mp3 headunit that has no internal amp...so i'm looking for an amp to power my speakers...so should i go 2 channel w/component speakers and not use my 6x9's, or go multi channel and power components and 6x9's as well...i will also be getting a mono amp w/either one or two subs...i've been reccomended both methods...what do i do?? the guy that said not to use my 6x9's said to concentrate on really good components...and the bass will come from the sub(s) obviously...but what bout the high/mid sounds from the back? not necessary?

Dude, don't worry about the back w/ the subs you won't be able to hear them anyway, I spent the money on the rear-fill and turn them down so low to keep balance only when someone sits in the back can they be heard.
