Fit L13A CVT - how to gain power?
Hey guys,
I am currently searching for ways to gain power from my L13A engine with CVT transmission. I know, boost and supercharger seem to be great solutions but they're not allowed here. So, do you have any ideas how to improve performance? It is important that the car does not get louder than it already is due to laws.
Current engine and exhaust mods:
Spoon N1 silencer
Spoon b-pipe
What about the Spoon throttle body? I read that it is compatible with the L15A but do you know if it fits the smaller engine as well? I also thought about a manifold header but only Mugen and J's Racing make them for the L13A. What do you think about the gains? They're quite expensive for approx. 5% more hp.
What is more, I consider "classic" ways to modify an aspirated engine, e. g. camshaft, pistons etc. Do you have any information on parts? I can only find pistons for the L15A...

get the spoon throttle body for the 1.3. The 1.5 gives in a different air volume that doesnt match with the TPS signals that the 1.3 ecu is programmed to react to. the engine bogs down when accelerating from 1,800 rpm as compared to a rebored 1.3 throttle.
