just installed skunk manifold and problems
i forgot to plug in te knock sensor. so that is problem #1 i fixed that problem
now i know you have to modify the throttle bracket now what would happen if you didn't? and how are you suppose to make it look like. anyone have pics.
well getting to the main point. i went and started the car but when i push the gas it takes a long time for the rpms to rise. would would you think might be the problem. also i just rebuilt the head and put in new valve seals, itr intake valves, toda spring, and ferria retainers. do you think that the cams are not set to TDC with the crank. also it is a 95 GSR and the little black air box under the factory intake manifold is not use right and if not just leave the plug unplugged right? and yes i did a search

Well to answer one question right off the bat, the little black box does not need to be used and you can just leave the plug there. as for the throttle pulley you don't reall have to get a new one unless you want it to look better. All I did to make it work with my stock tower bar was bend the throttle pulley bracket back a little bit so it didn't touch the bar. but with your rpms going up slow,I don't think I have ever heard of this, but maybe I can get an answer.
wwoooooo i found every thing that was wrong the dist was to low of deggreee as i turned it with the car on the car starte to speed up and not misfire. as for the idle up and down on the throttle body with the intake tube off there are to holes in it top one and bottom the bottom one leads to something under the throttle body i plugged that hole and it stopped doing the reving up and down.
thanks everyone
