stock prelude injectors
what is the cc for stock prelude injectors? what size injectors would be good for a low boost app? ive looked all over ht & google cant find it though... please help!
You'll want at least 440cc injectors to safely run 6psi imo. Might as well get even larger than that to give you room to grow. You can always scale down a larger injector with good engine management anyway (i.e. Hondata, eCtune, Neptune, Crome, etc)

My h22 is an OBD1, I am buying the AEM rail, filter and regulator so i wanna get a better upgraded set of injectors too at the same time. I love the fact they sell them in those black stealth versions but i'll save like 40 bucks overall and go with the anodized red, i love that gimmicky ****!

92 VTEC where? Japan? They didn't have them here......
96 VTEC[obd2] 345cc P&H? Wrong......
Stop posting bad info just for the sake of replying.....
You're the same guy that was suggesting the use of Stage 3 cams with a stock bottom end too. JUST STOP!
The PRELUDE Mods are fairly inactive here, but I won't tolerate your bad info man.....
Its been awhile since I cared about stock injectors but IIRC 93 was 345cc and 94-95 was 330cc
[I run Precision 400s and RC 370s and have them waaaayyyyy detuned]
Everyones raving about Injector Dynamics injectors because of their spray pattern.
That being said we were ALL GOOD using RC balanced and blueprinted 440s[up to 465 after b&b]
IIRC @ 10psi[~300whp] we were still only at 75-80%(it may have been at 7psi though) either way. Cheap way to get it done.
You can also look into Acura RDX injectors. ~$40/ea and are 400cc IIRC and you use Toyota clips on them.
Look to Rosko Racing to help you get that handled.......He does some tricks with them.

I checked the Honda catalog and 93 thru 96 use the same p/n 06164-P0F-000, 97 thru 01 all use p/n 06164-P5M-000. I agree with you. 96 lude is OBD2, But uses the same injector resistor box as the 93 thru 95
There was no 92 VTEC[usdm] and if you look, there are 2 different part numbers for 93-96, and 96 uses 1 of the 2, while 93 uses either or & 94-95 uses only 1 of them as well. Very confusing and wouldn't trust it until I tested it.
There was testing in the past that indicated that the 93 VTEC used 345s and the 94-95 uses 330s.

Not sure what catalog your'e reading. The HONDA catalog shows one available p/n 93-96 H22 Prelude. So the flow rate is as described in previous posts. The other p/n that is in the catalog has been discontinued by Honda. I asked the parts manager whats up with all that, He said its the same injector, they just dropped the p/n.
Either way we cut it, I still don't think[even if the 93-95 is identical] that they are 345s stock.
Bottom line is it really doesn't matter. 15cc isn't going to make any difference...
I have taken the stock[whatever]to 200whp with i/h/e/ cams tuned with VAFC2 and still had fuel removed in some places in the powerband.
I would NOT use stock injectors for a turbo build......Really give some thought to the RDX injectors. An old clogged injector can ruin your day......
Why mess with old crusty injectors? I wasted a dyno day and $150 because of old injectors, installed the RC 370s and on my other Prelude didn't even consider using stockers and bought Precision 400s. Looking back, had the RDX injectors been out, I wouldve used those but this was in 2006.
DSM 440s[B&B'd by RC to 465] at a total cost of ~$150 worked just fine, but now there is the RDX option for alomost the same price, but brand new.[not that a fresh set of RC b&b's were anything close to used when said and done]
