Icon7 exhaust options?

Im interested in buying an EP3 ^.^ cant wait any longer but going to have to lol im already making my mod list for it, but i cant figure out what exaust i want, im an ex-fit freak and ive had a megan racing axel back on it, i loved it b\c it was sporty yet didnt sound ricer and ALWAYS had a low/deep sound, even in the high revs, that is what im trying to find for the ep3, a cat/axle back that would give me a low/deep tone and nothing raspry or weed whacker. is there any exhaust system/combo that can give me that? thanks in advance :D

heres a video link of the megan axle back on the fit:

dude that thermal R&D sounds like a fart can!

I would look at the OBX Twinloop a very nice sounding exhaust! Tanabe make a nice sounding one, I believe its the hyper medallion model... Also Magnaflow has one too... These similar sound to the Fit soundclips...

at first, like within 1k to 2.5k or something, yea it does sound like a fartcan, but after that sounds smooth, im thinkin maybe an intake can fix the fart can sound.

the OBX i count find a video/sound sample for an ep3

the Tanabe hyper medalion, oooh yesss thats the kind of sound ive been looking for, b\x it has a deep sound almost the whole throttle, even when revving high, unlike the magnaflow, personally i think the magnaflow sounds nothing like the megan racing axle back (the one showed in first post). how ever..... i didnt find a ep3 with the tanabe, i was listening to the prelude... think it sounds any different...?

idk, sounds a little too loud... >.< but then again i was watchin 70mm versions, not sure what the difference is between 60mm 70mm 76mm etc, mind explaing? like im trying to give off that racer sound, but not to grab too much attention. like, a subtle racer exhaust, if that makes sense..

the 60mm 70mm and 76 mm are piping sizes! the bigger the piping on a NA car the louder it will be but the more flow it gets. if you go big on some NA setups you will only lose some power in the high rps (76mm+)! If your turbo though the bigger the better! more flow for the turbo to let the bad gases go. having a bigger piping with a turbo will give the engine more power at the higher rpms.

i would recommend 60mm cause its not big but it sounds deep and sexy and also keep in mind that if you have future plans you might want to think about that too. i should have gone with the 70mm exhaust because it would of been good for NA and turbo but i wasnt thinking about the future at the time. silly me!

Well good luck if you got any more questions just holla

if you r really are going turbo in a year then 70mm then.... its the best of both worlds in a way... good flow....just a lil loud maybe (noty sure since i dont own a 70mm) but when the turbo goes in it will quiet it down a bit. but do you homie, have fun searching up those exhausts! hope you find one you will love!

i think i found the one i want: Tanabe Super Medalion Hyper, or something like that, and that too is 60mm piping, now im wondering if i can somehow get a dual tip on there xD

This is a prelude, and im hoping it sounds close to it...

humm h22 vs k20a3.... umm not so much the same sound... i think they got some vids out there with that exhaust on an ep. i think on ephatch they have a exhaust review board(part reviews). might want to look into that. and see who has that exhaust and ask for their opinion.
