Hey guys just dropping in to tell you guys that I got a 1990 STD hatch. This car belonged to me when I was 16-17 years old, and then was sold back to my Mom, sold to my sister, and then given to me for only $500.00!!! What a deal, right! Clean title, no body damage other than some deep scratches, brand new tires on 14'' stock steelies with 1992 Si covers, 3% tint on the windows (done when I was 16), CD player, runs perfect.

Right now it's totally bone stock. I acquired this car to be a back-up car for my other hatch:



If my 1992 hatch needs to be down for upgrades or repairs then I know I've got a nice "beater" to drive around.

I plan on the car to remain mostly bone stock for a while. It has 180,000 miles on the 70hp 1.5L and the 4-speed STD tranny, so *if* it happens to start to go bad then I'll probably drop in a ZC swap.

Does anyone here have an extra ZC or even a D16A6 stock Si motor laying around and is near GA?



Anyways, I'll be checking this forum more now that I've got one myself. I'm pretty familiar with them already since I owned this one before and I work at a shop that's done all sorts of swaps in the EF/ED Civics/CRXs.

Hey Tom, this is Rob i actually have a spare B16 with J1 tranny tht i might be getting rid of. I also have a to of spare Std parts including engine with tranny

 

omg i love ur 92 hatch! is this the one where everything was stripped inside and out so that u can have a full paint job all nice and clean like the assembly lines??
haha, i would hav bought an EG/EH if i had the money..
welp, goodluck on ur EF now.. and im sure that this one wouldnt be a dissapointment to me.
