Totally unmolezted,all original including oem floormatz w blown HG for 200 bonez,had to!
Needz drv fender,psngr door skirt,usual plastic bitz that are brittle from age.Trying to fight urge to swap B or maybe bigger,love to rock her fixed up oem stock form,we'll see!





In middle of vitara'd d16a6 for my 88 rex,so any major stuff'll be after that'z complete...

Yes,plz do let me know what ya find-looking for the obviously broken plastic (hell,ALL plastic if uncracked @ all),an Si head (d15a3),Si wiring harnesses perhapz,anything interior wise if cleaner than the pictures,an 87 owner'z manual (just to have,lol),si rear spoiler,(see where I'm heading maybe),I have a partial lizt already but in 88 sedan @ moment...

Even had an ancient radioshack radar det,still werkz (I bet real good,ha ha),and a factory bottle of touchup red not dried out completely (tho I need more than a lil bottle,yup!)

Factory digital auto rev tape/stereo still werkz,and brand new tirez!

oh,and been on redpepper for awhile now but had to reactivate last night due to inactivity?

About to drain oil,change filter,compression check/run w/o h20 for a min to see what'z up if compression check ok.

anyone know where i can find one thats blown,runs,no motor or trans i need one as a parts car for mine and does anyone know if its possible to swap a b16 or b18 or even an h22a into a 1st gen???

In other newz,grabbed a few parts today I needed/to save for later if needed:
hatch lifts,rear speaker brackets + covers,rear hatch area light (same as EF btw),some extra interior plastic,but no luck on fender yet (course) And no side plastic I needed,but still looking. Might buy the hatch from donor car I saw since mine has a lil dent+surface rust from it under spoiler.50.00,but looked decent! (someone beat to me the louvers it had,damn!)

 

Small update,SHE Runz!!! (albeit no H2O in her due to HG/possible warped head in center) Compression check of #1 175ish,#2 120ish,#3 125ish,#4 180ish. Gonna look for any useable head monday for now,+ order hg set.
Definitely had H2O in #2,(and water doesn't compress as we all know-starter said "chang" instead of turning over,turned over by hand @ crank,then spun over w plugs out and shot all over my 88 rex,lol.

Trans shifts thru all 5/clutch pulls (moved a ft due to 88 in front of,and no H2O),brakez fine,idles and revs out <grin> Yeah,I changed oil 1st!

All electrical workz,amazing that!

Replaced broken str whl that tow truck driver must've broken while pulling on it to move out/get on flatbed!!! unrusted on breaks,gonna call his boss/use another service from now on-jerk hated hondas-I saw disgust on his face when he saw all of minez...(replaced w moldy oldy from jy for now) AND at least 2 more broken "chunks" of side plastic from his azz also! (took pix day b4 he towed) I didn't ride out + watch him load her,but damn sure will from now on - Some folk,lol...

I feel ya there,lol.Most around here are running around w/o @ least one fender gone due to them being busted (NOT one of Honda's better ideas,nope!) rockauto DOT com sells some for 50 ea + sh,might buy and use for forms for some CF custom,dunno yet...

And thx,trying my damndest? to keep her all stock for now (but that d16a1 swap looks very tempting!) Gonna just replace broken/scratched up pcs for now/HG-check if warped/and rock her stockish for awhile,we'll see

Now if I can only find some door caps and rt rocker plastic!!!

I have a few xtra interior/ext trim plastic pcs I'll sell/trade for parts I want if anyone needs/wants em...

Installing rear garnish,and fond a lil more cancer just getting started eatng her.Rust treatment/red rustoleum'll cure that.My hatch is a lil dented on top under spoiler/back top and has surface rust about to turn to eatage as well.Doing all of it at once,PROPER!

Smallish update,got full gasket set in (cheaper than HG set locally).Pulling head soon to check warpage/rebuild or replace w another d15a2 (I spied one in JY that lookz to be recently built for 35.00),I guess since d15a3 heads not around when I want one now... (JY'z HAD several of these b4 I bought one,figures!) STILL looking for plastics!!!

 

Check on eBay for fenders and header piece (between the headlights).

A simple shave of .040" will get the head flat again.

Been working between daily rain lately here in FL on minor rust (2 lil spots on hatch seal "lip",+ couple of other lil spots.) Rust treatment,red rustoleum for now... More Pix soon!

I just bought an white 87 CRX DX last night for $50. Don't know if it runs, battery is dead. Had 4 flats that it was towed to my house on. Only broken plastic is the left door as best I've seen so far. Fine cracks in the left fender and front mask.

That rear reflective panel is nice. It was an optional part for the CRX in the US.

Also, not all CRXs are JDM. JDM does not indicate where a car was manufactured but where it was marketed. While all the Civics and CRXs from 84-87 that I know of were made in Japan, there were made for different markets (JDM, AuDM, EDM, USDM, CDM, ETC). Where the car was marketed can have a big impacted in the setup or options available to it. Some even had headlight washer/wipers!

 

Thx,and yeah I know about the different markets (was an attempt @ humor about em all being built in japan-least from what I've read/deciphered,and how everyone on ebay states "JDM") Remindz me when me and the last EX split up/was taking my partz + shiz to my car (carrying a JDM 3 stage vtec head,EX tried to say was hers-and the cop said "Maam,I doubt that's head's yours") ,then he asked what was special about it,I tried explaining JDM,EDM,USDM to him-but was to a mute ear...
