Default What size injectors does D15B have?

Guys,
I just picked up a 95 DX Hatch for my little brother. Bought it from a coworker of mine. He swapped a JDM engine in it a couple of years ago because original motor died. Car is bone stock, the guy never raced it, it was his daily driver.

The engine model on the block is D15B and there are no other letters after the 'B'. I want to buy an extra set of identical injectors for that engine, have them sent to get flushed/recertified and put them in.

Do any of you guys know the exact injector size that such engine comes with?

Thanks in advance,

-Walter

it depends on which D15B it is... there are several.
Most of them have the standard OBD1 240cc injectors.
One is the same as the VX and has the VX's 190cc injectors.

If it doesn't have a TB that you could clog with a superball and has VTEC, then it has 240cc.

Relic1: Thanks for the reply.

The only thing I can think of that might help recognizing the engine is that it has a plate bolted with two nuts behind the head, if you pop the hood and look at the engine the plate would be here:

Code:
    plate is
    there
     \/

       \________/
Would that be where the VTEC solenoid bolts into, or could it be something else (perhaps emission related) that was taken out when the engine was imported?

Thanks guys.

you have the non-vtec version of the d15b, replacement for the d15b7.. that plate you see had something to do with a carb type of system for the fuel pumps on the jdm cars..

for your question, buy injectors for a d15b7, or any obd1 injector for that matter, except for the vx ones..

Excellent, thanks for the info guys, wound up getting 240cc Injectors and a bunch of other stuff from Deni ( b18ctrb ), great guy.

Injectors should get to Rich tomorrow, looking forward to getting them back like new.
