Default Prothane Bushing.

Just a quick question i know the whole energy suspension binding issue has been displayed everywhere. my question i am pretty much content with my car except for the front sway bar and the vehicles bushing. I was recently over at a friends house and he should me his prothane urethane bushing he was installing. He was satisfied and it appeared to be a quality product. I am wondering if these have the same binding effect being hardened urethane as a poly bushing. The main reason i want to know if i can use this kit is it appears to be the only way to replace the front lower ex control arm bushing other than rediculously expensive mugen. I plan on purchasing the fullrace traction bar so keeping ex control arm is a must. He some info about the car.
1999 Civic ex
Stock front bar 22mm energy hardware
ITR 22mm rear greaseable bushing oem style endlinks
Asr Brace
F&F type 2s 10k front 6k rear. I would really like to tighten up the rest of the car even though it is farly solid only have 90,000 on it.
I would specifically like to replace all of the front control arm bushing. New rear lower control arm bushings. Hardrace or oem trailing arm bushing. New toe link. Ingalls hard rubber rear camber arm which i already have.
The mugens cost

For just the front. The prothane kit is 75.00 bucks.
I understand you have to pay to play but i have other prioritys right now like building the street/strip car. If the prothane will cause a problem ill probably do a mugen/oem bushing combination. what do you all think

Also part of the reason for wanting to complete this is because, now i can go around corners rather well in comparison to any front wheels drive car ive ever driven. I have confidence in the vehicles cornering ability similiar to that of when i drive my parents 335i 6spd twin turbo performance package, i just take in to account this oviously have different limitations and pros/cons. But if i turn left or right quick i can feel the car lean in slightly. This is much more noticeable when the coilovers arent full hard. But still there when they are. Im wondering if its the stock front bar being too small. Im planning on buying the eibach 26mm front. I was also wondering if other than the bar and bushing if the 6k rear are a little soft. The ride right now is very easy but i would considering stiffing it up. Tomorrow i plan to call function & form and inquire about getting a set of 12ks for the front and 10ks for the the type 2s i think they should be able to handle this( if any body knows anyone running this setup or has any insight do please chime in)

Prothane will have the same issues as Energy. Instead of the Mugen kit you can check out the PIC/SONEM bushings. A full set runs $225.

not quite sure where the energy binding rumor came from. i actually tested a rear control arm with their bushings. you can cycle it by hand. i also scratched my head when i first heard this. at any rate i'm running energy bushings on my integra just like many of the guys at my track. personally i have used both energy and prothane on cars, the energy bushings always seem to fit easier when it comes to the install.

btw, if you haven't done the energy kit to your mustang, DO ! it's a major upgrade. that is if you aren't already on a steeda/griggs or some other aftermarket package. a few years back i picked up a 91 5.0 for next to nothing. of course i had to build it. the poly bushings, koni sports, h&r sport springs {don't buy these, just look into ground control}, a rear panhard rod and sub frame connectors really transformed how the car handled.

Man this thread is old. Just wanted to say that the energy bind is kinda weird. I have installed this brand on three different track cars and had very good results. If it binds up with hand power, I'm quesing that's ok from brand new bushings.?.?.
