Hey guys i am in the market for some new seats and want to ditch my ugly cloth seats for some nice leather seats. I am looking for a bolt-on, no modification application.

I was told the integra seats will fit? RSX fits ok? Also what about s2000 seats will they fit with no modification? Any other car/trim/model that may bolt up to my civic HB? Thanks for your reply.

 

94-01 Integra GSR leathers (fronts) will fit w/no modifications...I have a set from a 2001 in my hatch. The rears are a little trickier...the seat backs from a 2-door 94-01 GSR will fit perfectly, but the seat bottom has to be from a 4-door. Not sure if it fits perfectly or not. I lucked into a leather-wrapped EG rear seat bottom and used the 2-door GSR leathers for the seat back and it looks great.

RSX and S2000 seats will require a fair amount of modification to work...I'm pretty sure the pans will have to be swapped to fit S2000 seats in.

The GSR seats are the only ones that will swap in without modification... The RSX seats will not fit without cutting/welding...

The s2000 are the best option in my opinion... You have to swap the pans/rails from your stock seats but it sounds harder than it is...

The GSR seats are definitely more comfortable than stock but don't look sporty in my opinion and lack bolstering... With the s2000 seats you get good looks, lots of support, comfort (as long as you aren't tall or fat)... and if you swap the pans it will recline/move just like OEM...

 

GSR are awesome in my opinion. IDK about an EG, but in an EK you have to swap the inner rails off of your Civic seats. Otherwise, no modification necessary.

 

Regarding GSR seats:

EG = direct bolt-on

EK = swap inner-rail...

 

will the 99-01 si seats will fit 93 eg?

 

99-00 seats will if you swap the inner rails, but don't bother, the Si seats really suck just like all other usdm EK seats do.

 

true, BUT don't make everyone else think that there is something special about GSR seats, they are "exactly" the same fitment as ANY 94+ Integra seats. The GSR seats are no better than RS, LS, or GS. They all fit the same way, they all have the same bolsters.....the only difference between them was just the seat cover.

 

I knew that the guy above me is the one that specifically mentioned GSR seats... Personally I don't really like them... I don't think they are very supportive or sporty looking... Certainly better than stock but I am sold on s2000 seats....

 

The nice thing about GSR leathers is that they generally will smell like leather and not like whatever the hell the previous owner was smokin' as would be the case with cloth seats.

They're not perfect, and sure, S2000 seats are nice, but they do take more work to get in and they're gonna cost you more.

i dont like my seats, so i was just planing to wrap the rear with BRIDE fabrics and just buy BRIDE fronts or wrap just like the rear...
but im looking to see if i get a more comftable seats with out spending alot...

pls let me know what seats can fit on an eg without mod...im looking to do front and back...thx

 

What are you talking about?

The GSR seats have plenty of bolstering. Not as much as a racing seat, but a pretty decent amount for an OEM Honda/Acura seat.

They look pretty damn sporty to me too...

 

They have decent bolstering around your waist but they are really flat around your legs... They also look like they belong in a luxury car and not a sports car in my opinion...

This question was already answered for you above, but here it is again:

94-01 Integra: All seats will fit your car with the rails. DB7/8 (4 door) seat rails will be slightly taller than DC2 ones.

96-00 Civic: These will fit if you swap the inner rail, as mentioned above.

S2000: These seats will fit if you swap the seat pan out. There is a walkthrough on the boards around here. Any other seat: Custom rail time. Call MemoryFab for that.
