creaking sound after swap
I just swapped another d15b2 into my car and now there's a loud creaking sound when I'm on the gas and hit a bump.
It sounds like a rusty door hinge opened real quick, and ONLY does it when I'm on the gas and go over a bump. I've taken a look at the suspension, all bolts are tight and are where they belong. Brake dust shield is not touching, axle's installed correctly. Any ideas for me to check? I'm making a 300 mile trip next week & don't want this breaking down on me

nope I can push down on it just fine, I can also go over bumps sometimes without hearing the sound, it's more like stress on the frame makes the sound ( dips in the road)
endlinks for sway bar?
I did notice 1 tire looking crooked with the steering wheel straight, I remember with axles out and lower balljoint out I pushed the brake caliper out of the way, then putting it back I couldn't get that wheel straight.

you think an alignment will take care of that? After I put axles in and torqued the nut down, I pulled the wheel and it went crooked while other one stayed straight. Then it wouldn't go back. So that's why I'm a little worried lol.
And yeah def getting an alignment before the trip

yea it will solve it because I had the same issue when I had a shop recently install a new wheel bearing on my LR hub and when putting the hub and wheel back on I noticed right away that my wheels look like what you mention.
Went straight to a shop to get the alignment done, before my LR wheel was at -1.4 and my RR wheel was at -2.5 and that's how it supposed to be (for me at least) so I got the LR wheel back at -2.5 and no more problem for me.
but sad to say that it won't solve your creak noise lol
