best block and head ...(dd/sat night beater)

im thinking of making a mini me
but i cant make my mind up on
what block and head to use..

what do u guys think would be a good
set up for a weekend racer // dd....

im thinking
a6 block & a y8 head././..

a lil help guys thanx
