ok,well i just did a motor swap not to long ago, and i picked up a 96' l.s motor (5-speed) complete. the motor is in a 1999 civic hatch..and the problem is that im burning oil every 2-3 weeks....
the motor isn't built,just simple bolt on (intake,headers,straight pipe into a apex ws2 exhaust).. also car is converted to OBD1.

I did a leak down, and compression test today...95% good. but still dont know why im burning oil?...also grey smoke is coming out from my exhaust sometimes... there is no leak on the motor or below it...can anyone tell me whats wrong?....

what were the numbers?
do you know how many miles are on the motor?

 

the leak down & compression was in the 95... and the millage on the motor is 130,xxx..

bump it up....still dont know whats wrong..motor is still running strong,just the burning oil part sucks......
