Default p28 tuning with crome

i bought a p28 chipped with gsr map with vtec engage at 6,
i going to run jdm p30 map, on my crx b16a
here few things i don't really understand
launch control? do i just set it where i launch at?
full throttle shift, where do i set this at??
the p30map i have showing vtec engage 5800, i use to run pr3, and it engage at 4800, so i thinking set it to 4800, so i don't need to adjust the fuel map or anything right??
i disabling the knock becuz p28 have no knock sensor board
o2 sensor?? i thinking keeping it running, but what about heater?? do i need to run o2 sensor heater or no?
i also raising the rev limit to 9000, the problem on mine becuz i shift at 8000, sometime my cluster is off, and it'll pounce of 7600.
but on the fuel/ign table it end at 7912rpm, what i need to do??
i do have a type r map, will it better i run that instead??,
thx

Launch control you set the RPM where you want the RPM to stay at even when you have the throttle pushed in all the way while you are sitting still. Also known as Full Throttle Launch.

You may want to read up on Full throttle shift, people say the crome version does not work very well if at all.

If you change the VTEC engagement point to 4800 you will need to increase the fuel from 4800 to 5800 or else you will run super lean. Just leave the engagement point where it is.

Leave the o2 sensor enabled unless you are tuning it closed loop. i.e idle, part throttle, and full throttle.

Do not raise the rev limit to 9k just because your cluster is off, 8k is at 7600 because it's a 17 + year old cluster. Raising the rev limiter will not make your tach correct.

Don't run the Type R map as you will be running pretty rich due to the extra power that the c5 puts out over the b16 as well as the extra displacement. More aggressive cams etc.

Just run the p30 map if you have a stock b16, you REALLY shouldn't be tuning your own car as you have read not nearly enough if you are asking these questions. No offense to you; but it is your motor, do what you will, I would just not suggest it.

My suggestion is start reading the pgmfi.org wiki. Do you have a wideband? If not do you know how to accurately read spark plugs?
