we just swapped a jdm d15b into my car about 2 weeks ago
i havent really drove it because i still needed a bumper and things but yesterday i drove my car and the only thing that doesnt work is the vtec

and i get in my car to start it just now and i second click the key and everything inside turns on like my radio and everything but when i push the key forward nothing happens. no noise or anything???

i dont see how it worked yesterday and not today
i havent been driving it around......

im extremely frustrated

any help?

 

could it be the battery??? thing is its turning everything inside on???

 

Have you checked the charge on the battery? If it's fine, check the starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal. If the switch is fine, check whether the you have battery voltage at both the starter motor and solenoid (with key in ON(III)).

 

i dont have anything to check the battery?? a friend is coming over and im gonna put his battery in real quick to see if it starts my car...if not its gotta be something else...

are there any fuses that could stop me from starting my car?

 

starter came unplugged somehow? wire was straight hidden

 

wow i have the exact same problem but my starter is plugged in and it is good, the battery charge is also good. sometimes it turns on and others it doesnt. any other suggestions? i cant find the switch on top of the clutch pedal?

 

mines was the battery was too dead

 

starter? alternator? clutch sensor?

 

starter is good, alternator is good where is the clutch sensor?

 

i got down under the steering wheel and everything look up where the clutch pedal is and theres a like yellow plug i think going to the top of the clutch pedal...thats why our cars wont start unless the clutch is engaged. so check if its loose or unplugged maybe?
