what are the symptoms if my main relay is going bad?
Car won't start after parked for just a minute.
Car won't start when hot outside. Fuel injected PGMFI models only
Car starts but quickly dies as the rpm shoots to 1300 rpm.
Once started the car won't stall.
the symptoms return after shutting off the hot engine
No humming sound from the fuel pump the moment the ignition switches ON.
No click sound after the ignition key turns
10-15 of waiting and the car pushed to a shade will usually start.

i think the first 3 sound just like whats going on with mine.
the 4th one you listed doesnt make sense to me ?

Meaning that the solder contacts have melted onto another part of the board which keeps constant power going to the board instead of the power leaving when you turn the ignition off.
Re-soldering your old one > 45 bucks for a new one. The site I listed shows you everything to do to resolder it and what the connections should look like when you open it.

just finished it. ill be testing if it changes behavior.
i removed all the old solder on each of the contact points.
then i gave it a ton of soilder on the top of each point.

What are your symptoms. Is it just cranking for a long time before starting?
Mine is acting the same way..after I replaced the main relay it started fine once and ran. Then it shut off and would only crank but not turn over?? And it doesnt struggle before it dies.
I could remove my main relay and tap on it a couple time and my car would start right up and that's how i knew it was the main relay i could actually feel it click in my hand
my car has problems too. i switch to ignition and it just cranks and cranks and cranks. then it slowly starts to stutter like barely getting fuel then slowly a little more then it cuts on... and when I'd break harsh on. stop sign . it just shuts off...
now it won't turn on at all will just crank and crank...

When my main relay went bad. .My car slugged at the start. then started to slug more and more.. till i got tired of the fact that it might not start took out the main relay smelled it (smelled burnt) Bought a new one. fixed the problem.
I tried 3 relays. including my own.
1 different ecu mpfi obd0 integra pr4 ecu.
changed my injectors to d15b7 then to another set from eBay I bought meant for d16a6.
changed fuel filter. new.
I hear fuel pump hum kicking in.
I tried hand over manifold with Carb cleaner inside.
started but then died was idling during process.
and I noticed my timing belt is sorta loss by my thought it should be really tight. so I'm trying that next.
so far nothing has worked.
any ideas would be great!
