Default Events to death of car?!?!?

I have a 92 Honda Accord LX. Last year I flooded the thing but it worked fine the past year and a couple months. This is the sequence of events:
  • (15 months ago) Flooded.
  • Dried computures (car arose from the dead)
  • (9 months ago) Radio goes (turns on off on off very quickly)
  • (4
-5 months ago) Break lights come on occasionally

Now just within the week my D4 light has been blinking and have diagnosed it as the lock up control selonoid but I really feel its the computers.

Does the sequence of events sound like a computer? Or is it just a old car with 106,000miles on it that just needs things replaced?

Hope to hear from you guys!

Flooded as in - was in flood water? You probably messed up more than just computers. Your wiring is probably rotting/corroding away. There's a reason people don't purchase flood cars.

I live in NJ, it was salt water. It was high enough to get into the passanger side of the car and when i drove it out it died. 3 days later after drying the computers it started and worked great ever since last week (15 months or so with no driving problems). I opened the TCU up to see if any thing had been burnt out... nothing was seen.

Your ECU and TCM "computers" are under the passenger side carpet. The D4 blinking CAN be caused by a bad TCM... I'd look into picking up a used TCM from a junkyard.

My old 92 accord's TCM started to go (or so i think...) and every now and then, the car wouldn't start with the D4 light blinking. Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes or so usually fixed the issue, but it became a pain. I was unable to find a used TCM in my area.
