Default si tranny

thinking about switching the tranny in my DX hatch for an SI tranny. How late a SI civic can I go to? What will I need, is it a bolt on or do I need to replace anything else (mounts, axles, etc)?
Anyone done this to their DX hatch (no other mods), if so, could you tell the difference?
Thanks

I don't know what generation your Civic is. If it's a 92-95, the Si tranny should be a direct bolt-on. If you have a 96-00, then it won't work.
