Well i seem to be running into problem after problem lol... Well my door handles do not seem to have tension on them at all and its hard to even get the drivers side door open the passenger side wont even open from the outside.. and the drivers side i have been having to bump up against the door or push on it to open it from the outside.. how can i fix this?

if you take off the door panel you will see a long threaded rod connected to your door handle that may be your cause if nothing is broken. i forget if there is an easier way to tighten it but i used take off the door handle and spin it to tighten it

 

Can you provide me a diagram or something of some sort? Its a 93 del sol s.

 

i dont have anything for a delsol but i got 96-00 civic possibly similar the only picture i found right now with relevance is this one. the rod i was talking about is the outer handle rod. if you need help taking off your door panel check out the faq im sure there is something on there for that it should be pretty simple and self explanatory. the handle may be a little trickier but therer may be a way to tighten it without removing the handle itself. sorry if im not getting the right stuff its late and im going to bed.

 

Well further inspection shows that there is a bolt that snaps into a piece of plastic it looks like and the plastic thread has been worn out and it wont stay in there.. I will see what i can do to fix it maybe i can fix it without having to buy a new door handle and the assembly..

 

buy a new door handle they are pretty cheep,
