im not sure where to post this but since i have a crx im posting it in here.

so im planning on selling my car and a guy from california called me and said that if i get to pass smog here in WA where i live that he will buy it. the thing is i dont have smog or emissions where i live. So either way even if i did get it to pass smog wouldnt he have to just do it again in California? its an h22 crx so i have no idea how cali works.

 

Let him deal with the smog.

 

if its a 49 state vehicle he would have to pass a california emissions test which are lovely...technically the seller has to submit to the buyer a current smog certificate within the last 90 days...if you want to go the easy route just sell it to him as-is and make sure that you put that in writing in addition to giving him the pink slip...!!!

 

im prettyy sure he wouldnt even pass smog because theres a h22 that most likely hasn't been BAR'D for the motor, so automatic fail. plus he should know this

so pretty much i shouldnt waste my time going through emissions cus it does him and me no use.

 

Just sell it to him as is print out your own bill of sale that says as is and both of you sign it...!!!
