i got a paintjob about 4-5 months ago and the clear coat is still kinda soft. Like if i even wipe the smallest layer of dust with a microfiber cloth it leaves microscratches. i didnt wax it or anything like right after i got it back...i even waited like a month to wash it. any imput? possible solutions? thanks guys!

 

did u add the right amount of hardener?
did you use the same line of products? or did u mixmatch brands?

 

i didnt paint the car myself so idk if they used the right amount and yes ive always used the same line of products

 

wax is usually 60 days.

find out if it was baked or just air dried. but if you waxed it, that can prevent a full cure.

 

it was about 60 days til i waxed it but im not 100% on that, i might of cut it a little too close and did it too soon.
