Friday was the usual test, tune and smack talk.

Saturday, was great! Lots of Honda Challenge cars showing up in the morning as I went to re-stock up on ice. Pretty disappointing the track no longer sells ice. Had to stop for coffee and breakfast at McDonald's. Nothing like a nutritious McSh@t Bomb in the morning...

Renan had some super high tech air box under constant development, someone please post a photo!!! He tried a new angle. If I park behind someone, preventing them from leaving the garage, leave my car on jack stands until the last minute, it will certainly create panic for my competition.

Benny's mouth was unstopable talking about how fast he is, only to DNF.

Kiwi, was in full charge aggresive qualifying trim! Which included testing evey corner run off area.

Great racing with all the usual suspects.... Justing, Manny, Terry, Landry twins, Greg, Daniel, John H., Joe, and many more.

Tom Paule shows up with some secret AEM test vehicle. Nice job! Not sure what you were up to with a used Toyo 335/40/18 tire in your truck.

HMMMM sounds like Cheating going on.

I was on full "Take no prisoners" mode after winning on Saturday. I remember looking over at Ken while hurtling through the grass on the runoff area after turn nine and wondering "What the hell is he thinking"? Then I thought... I wonder If I can get past him before I hit the Bridge???

As For Tom Pauly... What a Guy... What a racer... What a great Sunday race it started out to be... I'm sorry man, If you saw the Gap I saw, you would have gone for it too... When you caught up a few laps later, I thought this is going to get nasty!
To be honest, I was actually going to wave you by and start racing with you again. Then Karma Struck! My Fuel Tank Fell out! How the hell could that happen?

I wish you guys could have seen Tom when we went in to fill out our Contact reports...

Good times though. Pat I hope you were able to see what a fun group we all are. Thats what I like about Honda Challenge , even if its a competitor - if they are having a problem everyone jumps in to help. Eric i swear i didnt take your flashlight though.

I don't know if Renans constant F-ing with the car finally caught up with him on Sunday but dude, come off the track Saturday grab a beer not a wrench.

I do have a problem with this out of class garage blocking. Kiwis Integra was always parked behind me until like 1 min before our session. Next time park behind Paule, keep it in class!

Imagine my surprise to arrive at the shop to see the car with no motor and the transmission in about 100 pieces - that was seriously hilarious how we all got it together in time somehow!

You guys are an amazing crowd - just the overall atmosphere over the weekend made it worthwhile despite all our collective fumbles (Renan's attempt at bleeding brakes...my attempt at driving with a drain pan under the car... and on God, there's more stupid ish...)

C'mon...it's RICE...not race...! The cooker's looking much prettier and I hope to see Brian make a cameo with it again on the pitwall next time 'round!

But sunday that darn TPS owned me,maybe a good thing because I didnt get "Kiwi'd" lol, sorry I could not take advantage of the gas tank falling out grampa... maybe next time.

Good to see J Howard win Sunday to ease the pain from last months damage.
