Default em1 smoking under load

ok well got another topic i would like some insight on well my em1 is stock besides i/h/e and test pipe, and its burning oil i smell it all the time after i park and my friends say it happens when im under load example when i hit vtec. so i was freaking out hoping that the rings were not going out on me, i did a comp test and my test were as follow 220,220,220,215 so i know it has very good comp. only thing i can think of its the valve seat seals but is there any other opinions you guys think it might be?

Looks like you got good numbers. When vtec hits, your going to be losing a bit of oil. I wouldnt be so worried unless of course you visibly see oil dripping.

88k on the clock but its burning oil bad when under load so im assuming valve seals and it reaks of the burning oil smell and when i took aout the plugs there was lots of residue from oil, and when i hit vtec white smoke puffs out through my exhuast

white smoke usually mean blown headgasket. blue smoke is burning oil, if you think valve stem seals, then just get them done, but your number are good. I think it could be the pcv valve. It shoots into your intake mani, and goes into your combustion chamber.

the test pipe also ads somewhat to the smell of the burnt oil.

yeah i changed the pcv to a new one thinking that, and headgasket is good changed the oil no coolent or over heating i think it boils down to valve seals kinda sucks tho becuase i have to pull out the head, and as far as the test pipe answer i really dont think that could be it but maybe your right but i smell it when i run the fan from outside air in i dunno but its ok i just bought a gasket kit and just changing everything and hoping for the best

do a leak down test, before you go a yank the head.

does it burn oil at startup cuz that was happening to me and it was the valve seals

that happens cuz the oil leaks through the seals and buildups over night or whatever and it blows a lot of smoke but then clears up or you can have a different problem i don't know
