What Traction Bars???
what traction bars are you guys running? I ask this because i have herd bad things and good things about certain ones. some hang to low and some that the welds broke.
I am thinking about going with the new innovative one. What do you guys think about it?
also do you have any pictures of these on your cars and how low they hang. I tried looking in the search field for this information i remember a post from over a year ago about this topic but i couldn't find it and the new search field Sucks.

from the reviews it seems like one of the top traction bars I found one for 200$ trying to pick it up tomorrow. There is also a write up on here that a guy did when he got his and he was satisfied.
I am using a JK Motorsports traction bar on my crx. Its no longer in production i think but i am using the updated hardware as it had some problems early on only using 1 LCA bolt. If your looking to buy a traction bar you shouldn't be looking on EBAY. The crx traction bars are totally different that EG,EK,DC ones as the crx bar is the main suspension support for the car.You will not want to skimp just because you can get a good deal on ebay for some off brand. You want best of the best and many years of worry free service? Full Race all the way!! Spend the money once and dont worry about it

I personally have a Innovative traction bar/Crossmember in my EF. I love it, has the 1/2 radiator mounts that I needed and works great. 226 bucks well spent in my book. I have the ones that you use the stock radius arms with also.
I would NOT cheap out on a pretty vital part of the suspension but that's all on you. (Not saying you are just making sure you know lol)

im not wanting to go cheap on this considering it is the main suspension of the car the innovative one is ant a knock off ebay brand and i know its coming from a well known manufacture made in America and believe it has a good warranty
Yeah def. I ordered mine from a place online, unfortunatly they were on backorder forever, I don't have the comp one like you have linked. I have noticed less wheel hop even with my stock radius bushings. I have heard nothing but good about the innovative bars. Have a few friends running them too.
it looks like the best bang for the buck. i have terrible wheel movement not wheel hop though. i can feel the wheels torquing forward and backwards on a hard launch. Im about to turbo my car and im going to use a half core radiator and this looks like it will fit a lot easier then positioning it all ghetto hanging in the bay

I completely agree, that is why I purchased this in the first place. I hate my Turbo EF when it had the ghetto lean to the radiator. Depending on what you are setting the car up for is if you want the Comp bar, which is made for road course as you can adjust the hein joints, or the regular traction bar, which is of course more directed toward drag racing if you spring for the extra 40 bucks for the stiffer radius bushings.
I made my own with a traction bar kit from weir, and I bought all my hardware through speedway motors. For the whole thing I spent about $120 to my door. But then again I had to weld it all up myself. But My first choise was the Jk traction bars. After that I would have went with the explicit speed. But I didnt have the cash, and I know how to weld....lol

IMO etd is crap. There hardware is crappy, and they hang pretty low if your car is lowered, watch out. I dont like how it mounts to your tow hook location, and then you bolt on a bracket that also bolts into where your stock bar bolts on. If it was welded I would feel better about it but all it will take is a bolt to back out and boom, there you go crashing.
^^^i'm planning on getting that esp traction bar. as of right now i have a modified innovative crossmember. i cut out the center bar because it sits too low, and i welded in a thicker gauge square tubing low enough to fit a eg radiator that sits directly on the bar, but yet high enough to drop the car and not trip lights. mine sit higher than etd traction bars.
*my friends etd had to trim the strut fork to mount..........not too safe...

I have the full-race bar...3 years and no issues, it's awesome. If I had to do it again, I'd look at the new ESP bar (explicitspeedperformance), but I wouldn't hesitate to get the Full-Race piece
So in all out Voting everyone post a Vote for what to get im still liking the new innovative soo please all vote

Well lets see. If you have an ef and you only bolt to the tow hook mounts(it will rip out the first hard launch on slicks) so then they came out with the pro version and it uses 1 china built bolt to hold the china built bracket to the bar and another china built bolt to the frame. Note the bracket is only 1/4" metal. Sure for how much power most of the people on the street use it will be fine. But do 100 7k launces on 25" slicks and let me know what kinda shape its in.
look at the way it bolts together

All I have to say is if it was welded instead of bolted at that bracket it would be a way better setup.

. i had the bar on my crx for about 2 months and it twisted on me and caused the mounting bolts to strip out with only 300hp on drag radials.
