Hi, im completely noob here but i was just wondering if it was possible to take a h22 engine(honda prelude i think) and put it into a 1999 honda civic ex. but what i am most unsure about is that the prelude is a 4 speed automatic and my civic is a 5 speed manual trans.

It's not impossible, it just costs more.

Well it doesn't just drop in. You need axles, mounts, ECU, wiring, etc.

Also, you will need a 5 speed H-series transmission, or a B-series transmission and H2B kit.


And, search before you start an unnecessary thread.
This could have been easily found by looking in the FAQ that is oh so conveniently stickied at the top of this forum.
