Default J32 Swap

Hey I have been searching and I can only find one ef that has been swapped to a v6.
Does anyone know of a link or anyone making mounts?
Also any opinions on the swap itself, I mean the price is right on the motors, and it should lay down more power then my B16 with a 75 shot did on the dyno.

Thanks I realize they need welded in thats why I was wondering if anyone knew of a company making the mounts, since I am sure that guy won't pull the motor out and cut those mounts out of that car for me.

Iv heard that the only mounts that are being made is for the EG currently, saw one at IA with a j32 in it. Hasport is currently developing the ones for the EK, so I don't think you will be seeing them anytime soon unless of course you had custom ones made, which will be pricey and it's going to mess up the whole cars weight distribution as a J swap is pretty heavy.

The EG at IA that I saw that had a j swap in it was understeering so bad from the laps that I saw.

I forsee J swaps being the new K series lol.

no matter what, you need to do welding. It's just like a K swap into an EF, they make mounts, but they still require welding, it's not a P&P job bud

the EGJ1 kit does not require welding. You do have to drill out the spot welds and remove the frame rail bracket on the passenger side. The kit bolts in. People have welded the left hand bracket for extra piece of mind.

Thanks for the useful info, I also kind of just want to have something that no-one else has around here, as far as welding I am not scared......

I am thinking that if no one is making mounts then I need to ****** this car up since it would probably be cheaper then having another set made.

J32 =/= EF.

Im sure it would be quicker, handle better and do everything better with a K series.

It would also not have intake manifolds or fuel rails hanging out of where the hood should be.

I completely 100% agree with the statement. In the couple of EF pictures I'v seen I just cant fathom the intake plenum hanging out of the hood it just doesn't look clean.

If I wanted a 4" cowl hood, I would either be super ricer or would have bought a domestic.
