98 Civic gauge cluster needles help
Hello. I have a 98 Civic HB and the needles on my cluster are not illuminted. I've searched the forums to no avail. Any help? I know there are individual bulbs which light up some of the indicators (oil, gas, etc..), however, how are the needles illuminated? Is there any way to remedy? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Update
Ok...I believe the 2 lights on the top of the cluster which beam down are the ones that make the needles bright. The top left light (if facing the cluster) on mine appears to be out. This may be why my tach and speedo needles are so dark at night. The other light on the right side is fine and the other needles are brighter. Problem is, I just tried replacing the left side bulb (it's attached to another bulb via cable) with the same bulb from my old cluster and it still doesn't work. Am I screwed?
Thanks for any help.
Peace.

It could be the bulb itself. If i'm reading your post right, you're saying that the bulb is used. Check the wiring first or you might want to buy a new bulb instead. And no you're not screwed. Probably just something loose.
