here is the goal: We want to build a street legal drag setup with the following guidelines:

- D16Y8 EG Civic (Turbocharged), no NOS or other poweradders.
- Street legal tires
- full interior
- full exhaust (street legal with cat)
- streetable during the week and to be the best compromise for weekend hobby racer

we had some good sucess with a B16 Turbo'ed Civic with drag slicks, but we want to do something which you can also use as a daily driver.

Do you guys have any hints on a setup which fulfills the above "rules" and will get the best possible 1/4 mile results?

for example: what kind of tires? what to do with the suspension?

would it be possible to create a car under that circumstances which is able to run a low/mid 11 time (or even better if possible)? and what would be necessary in your oppinion?
