Default 92 EG6 LCA?

I have a question about LCA's for a 92 EG6. The CX doesn't have Sway Mounting Points, and I heard the Blox LCA's don't have the proper sway bar mounting points, so what LCA should I get to work with a Sub-Frame Brace with a 24MM Sway Bar?

If you can find stock OEM 94-01 Integra LCA's this will work also. Thanks for having a brain and doing some research before buying crap LCA's.

Blox lca's ànd F7 lca's are supposed to use Blox/asr style endlinks. Those tend to rust and ratlle, as the parts are completely exposed.

I would use OEM lca's and endlinks

damn shitty internet...or h.t.

ok i did a whole long write up since i have used blox..f7..and itr lcas.

but im too pissed off so im just going to keep this short.

itr lcas are not the same style as oem eh/eg lcas.

there are also 2 types of eh/eg lcas. ones that are compatible with arb and obviously one is not.

i am guessing your suspension is for an oem eh/eg setup. so you can use eh3/8 or ej1...also like it was mentioned before. u can also use 94-01 non itr integra lcas.

@ TS: why do you post this Q if you have a EG6 (with swaybar rlca mounting holes)?

Or don't you?

This is WRONG. Blox are meant to use the adjustable end links because they are designed wrong with crap bushings. You can use OEM end links with Function7 but need longer bolts to mount the stock end links. I am running OEM LCA's on my EK with ITR rear sway bar and Function7 LCA's on my EG1 with OEM GSR sway bar.

Excuse me but what are you saying here.

I don't see what bushings have to do with the endlinks but please elaborate.

So you are saying you can use the OEM ones but you have to make one bolt longer. That's true but that's not the same as saying you can 'just' use them. You can also cut part of the mounting hole as I'v stated somewhere else.

So I don't see what' so 'WRONG' about my statement.

Shouldn't do that. ITR sway geometry is diff from EK9 sway geometry (it fits, yeah, but that doesn't mean it fits good).

The Blox LCA bushing are crap.

replacing a bolt > buying new end links or even cutting ****.

ITR sway bar on EK civic, you can't be serious.

Granted. Still don't know what this has to do with endlnks though.

You mean just 'replacing' a bolt on an OEM endlink? How you gonna do that? Where you gonna get the joint, not mentioning actually fitting it? As far as I know you can weld an extra piece of bolt onto it, but otherwise ... ? Please enlighten me.

I totally agree. Then why are you running this setup?

Have you even seen what stock OEM GSR end links look like?

There are many out there running ITR bar on EK's.

You mean EG/ITR endlinks? Hmm, you'r right, I was mixing up with EK endlinks, sorry (need to go to bed).

Cause ASR sells them that way. Many people doing wrong things don't make'm right. If it was all the same then why design the EK9 swaybar different from the ITR ...

I think the only thing I will ask for help from you is, getting me some Heineken Pilsner (brown bottles) shipped back here.

Heineken is Dutch and sucks (recently it's been bougth by Interbrew which is a Belgian company but that doesn't change a thing)

Get original Belgian beer: pils: Stella; Duvel: 'somewhat' heavier; ...

Besides that I do know my suspension but I got a bit mixed up here ...

The CX doesn't have mounting holes.

Ok, so I got lost with a fwe of you battling back and forth, what LCA's and Endlinks should I used to put a Sway Bar in?

And as stated above, I can't use OEM LCA's due to the point of no sway bar mounting points.

Discussion and making errors leads to wisdom

And as stated above, I can't use OEM LCA's due to the point of no sway bar mounting points.
You can use:
- OEM EG6 lca with OEM EG6 endlinks
- F7 lca with modified (see posts above) OEM endlink or ASR syle endlink (which I would not recommend due to rusting and rattling)
- stock OEM 94-01 Integra LCA's

STOCK_SOHC_DX and Egezzy please correct/add if I'm wrong somewhere

Also, I read here there's a diff between stock OEM 94-01 Integra LCA's and Integra Type-R lca's (and for that matter with EG6 lca) , what is this diff? Must be a USDM thing?

Yes you are correct on all accounts. F7 and SKUNK2 LCA's with oem end links and longer bolts or adjustable end links.

89-95 civic LCA's with sway bar mounting holes and 94-01 integra non ITR. 88 civic, CTR, and ITR LCA's have different shock mounting.
