Default tore the wires out of the vss hookup

I was dropping the tranny back out because the tc slipped out of place when I did so I forgot to unplug the vss hookup and as there is not very much slack the wires ripped out of the connector. So, I put them in the order that it seemed the wires were bent in, but now I am get the trouble code for vehicle speed sensor. I wanted to see what order wires are supposed to go in before I buy a new vss. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. When putting the order on this could could you tell me how the connector is orientated, like if the release tab is up or down, and then from left to right. Again I appreciate it.

I appreciate it, I put them in order and nothing changed, however I suspect that there was an issue prior to the wire incident, the speedo and the odo stopped working. So, I am gonna but a new one and hope that it fixes both issues.

that was common in 94-97......if it happened with no CEL pull the cluster apart and remove the board on the back of the speedo unit and replace that....that way your odometer is still correct
