ECU Codes?? for Gen2
Hi, I'm new here, I have a problem with my Integra.
I was trying to turn on the car a few days back, and I hear this weird blinking noise coming from below the dash of the passengers side.
I put my ear in the ECU's spot and the ECU is going BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP ect.
The engine will crank, but it won't start, when I stop trying to crank it, thats when the ECU starts beeping. The Check Engine Light stays On.
The car won't start even if it's pushed.
What can I do?? Is the ECU broken?? Or is it just sending a code that something else is broken???
HELP!!!
I have a 1992 Acura Integra RS / 5 Speed.

This is some info I got from http://www.g2ic.com/

ECU Codes.
Depending on which year your Teg is, there are two different ways to check your ECU code.
1990 and 1991 Tegs:
Your ECU is located under the carpet on the passenger side of the car. You have to pull back on the carpet to expose the ECU which is brass in color. There is a circular window on the face of it with red LED in it. This LED will blink and this is where you read your code.
To get the LED to blink, you must turn the car to the "ON" position but do not start it. The LED will blink with fast blinks and with slow blinks. If you have four fast and two slow, that is code 42.
1992 and 1993 Tegs:
Your ECU is located in the same spot as 90-91's but you won't be reading the code off the ECU. For you, you must jump a connector and then your Check Engine light will blink to tell you the code.
The connector you must jump is located under the glove box and should be green in color.

I just don't get it....
How do I reset the ECU?? or how exactly I check the code through the connector???
"you must jump a connector and then your Check Engine light will blink to tell you the code.

Ok, so under the glove box I should look for a green colored wire?? And what do I do with that wire next???

I think it's supposed to be a green colored connector. You jump 2 posts in the connector with a piece of wire. To reset the ecu, look under the hood at the passenger side shock tower, there is a black plastic "box" that wraps around the top of it in the shape of a horseshoe. Open it up, the lid will tell you which fuse is for the ECU, pull it, and put it back in after a minute or 2. Try to get any codes before you do this, because they will be lost.
Thanks for the help,... I'll see what I can do.
I heard that checking the problems with a 'Scaner' or 'Dianostig Test' can only be done to 96' and up cars,... is it still possible to use a scaner on the earlier models??? someway somehow?
Thanks.
