Symptoms of Brake Light Switch going out

I know one symptom of this happening is that you can't take the car out of park. Does it cause anything else that anyone knows of?

Your brake lights would always be on, and Cruise control wouldn't go out if you stepped on the brakes ( I think)

What do you mean exactly about the brake light switch going out? Cause I have a simular problem.

I have a 95 lx 4cyl, and all of my rear brakes lights including the middle one are stuck on. The brake light warning light in dash is also on. All my fuses and bulbs are good. The only way I can get them to go off is to unplug the little white plastic box in the compartment of the left rear brake light and unplug the wire under the rear window brake light in the trunk.
