am about to buy this car and hmmm am new at this **** lmao.... this ***** tells me that this is a h22a4 but hmm i kinda did some search and hmm i dont see no ****in h22a4 blue top?!!!!! wtf...can u guys help me out and hmm tell me if u know what engine this is?!!!!

 

Dont worry about the valve cover its just an aftermarket one.

Why dont you read the lil numbers right below where the coolant tube goes into the engine... It should say H22 if it is indeed a H22. Other thing to make sure is that it the VTEC head, unless the seller is doing some shady stuff...

 

Look at the stamp inside the circle.
Going to assume it's a VTEC head since the solenoid is there.

 

It could be a h22 with swapped valve cover, or......

it could be the only factory engine to come with that cover, the jdm F20B

is this a good engine to have in a 95 civic 4 door eg?? the car is fast and hmm ders no leak.. no smoke no nothing.. the owner is a mechanic so hmm i believe the car is real good.. just some dents in the hood!!

That's not the only one to come factory with a blue top... the JDM H23a also came factory with a blue top...

 

OP... Definatetly get that car if it is only $2000, that is a good price for a car with a H22 swap in it..

It's the only 'vtec" F or H series to have the blue valve cover. The H23 is a non vtec engine, and can't be faked, because the 2 styles of valve covers are 'not' interchangable.

 

just get the car, it already has a swap in it so thats all good. I'm sure its a h22 in there.
