Default FS 93 ex sedan b18c1 make offer

My daily driver just quit on me and I need to sell it to start gathering money to buy my next car.

The car is a 1993 Civic EX 4 door 5 speed (EH9). Color is the common Honda maroon (darker red). Interior is gray. Has an Alpine CD/MP3 player.

Odometer shows 204,613. I bought it three and a half years ago with about 183,xxx on it. When I bought it the previous owner said the b18c1 had about 120,000 or 130,000 on it. The previous owner was on the east coast and had his own shop and sold swaps.

The timing belt broke so the engine needs work. A/C belt needs to be replaced. Before the belt deterioted recently the A/C didn't work much on the hot days (100+). Everything else is complete and functional (sunroof, power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, etc). Just passed inspection/emissions last Saturday. Paint shows its age.

Has 17" mini cooper s wheels with plenty of tread on the 205/50 yokohamas. It has an AEM intake, DC header and Tanabe exhaust. A little less than 3 years ago the clutch went out so I had it replaced with a lightweight flywheel and stage 5 clutch. The guy that did it was a reference from this site and lives in Haltom City off 121. Can't remember the name.

Has keyless entry with an Alpine alarm (hood, trunk and shock sensor triggers).

I don't have the resources or skills to fix this but someone that does could turn this one for a profit by swapping in a d16 and selling the car as running again then fix the b18c1 and sell it as well. Or some other swap combo. If you had the time you could also pull a profit by parting it out.

Post up what price range I should expect.

Email me if interested. I can send pics. a74celicagt at gmail

I'm in Fort Worth by Western Center and Beach. 76137.

As far as price, I don't know. That's why I wanted some offers or suggestions. Once I know a good range, I can put it up on craigslist and other sites. I know that KBB or other says the car would be about $3000 (if it were excellent condition and not a trade-in value). but that's without the swap. that's also without the work that needs to be done. is $1500 too high? I've been looking on here and have seen the prices of shells alone that are higher.

I forgot to mention above that the ABS light is on. Meineke did the emissions test a couple of years ago and they said it needed a new cat and o2 sensor. I had them do the work and the ABS light has been on since. It was never on before they touched the car but they said they didn't do it.

I put new plugs and wires in it earlier this year. It needs a new cap and rotor since I checked that before I pulled the middle timing cover off and found the belt. I already bought a new cap and rotor from Autozone so that's included.
