New Clutch question
Hey guys, had my car for a week now since a full engine rebuild. Now that I have the drivetrain upgraded:
1. Unsprung ACT 6 Puck clutch
2. HD ACt Pressure Plate
3. 12Lbs flywheel
4. Mfactory Lsd
Here's my review: I wouldn't call it street-able. Clutch engagement is harsh, it chatter if I don't release it properly and the car would shake, and the light weight flywheel if making it twice harder to get used to in esp city driving/hill starts. However, clutch grabs real damn good and pedal feels bit heavier/more positive.
Question: When I take it to the tracks, should I dump the clutch at high rpm to do some burnouts?? They usually wet the area where you do burnouts.
Since there are no spring to dampen the engagement of the clutch, I'm scared that something would give in respect to comparing with dumping the clutch with a sprung centre.
Just need any opinions, TIA
