don't need a eeprom chip burner for an s300, that is the whole point of spending the extra money on the hondata unit , simple map editing, and seamless reliable transmissions onto your EMS.

Just one. You'd need to get in touch with the eCtune guys to get setup as a dealer.

1. chip burner
2. crome/ectune/neptune

What you could do is use your s300 to tune your friends cars and copy the map to crome/ectune/neptune and burn a rom from there.

You can not copy s300 maps into crome/ectune/neptune

my bad, so old school stuff?

chipable ECU

stack of 28 pin eeproms, opensource or freeware map editing soft wares, your current maps won't work, ostrich, soldering iron, solder sucker (alot of people hack off the backhalf of the solder suckers and tape them to a vacuum for ease of use when doing this ****), it is a good idea to get a few extra ZIF sockets in case they break and they are cheap.

You can copy and paste the values from S300 to Crome. Works but you will have to change rpm values if they are different.

No, you can't. Different code bases so it will not run the same even with the same values. You'll need to tune it out after doing so.

Well it works from copying from Hondata s300 to pasted into Crome.

I did a simple copy and paste values from a stock p28(pasted into p30 base code in crome). If you look at the rom from Hondata all values are higher than what's in Crome(Looks to be about 20% higher). Tried it in my car, rom works with no CEL and runs.

So yes you can copy and paste, but as HRTuning is saying is the car is not going to run same as looks like fuel values are higher.

Oh ya, you can definitely copy/paste between the two, but it just won't run exactly the same even with the same exact values in both.

I agree. just copying and pasting from one system to another is not good practice.
Yea could you do it and get it close probbl. but you still need to tune on the system you will be putting in the customers car.
