Default B20 swap in 89 civic NEED MORE POWER HELP

Ok guys I need some input , I have a 89 civic si w/ a b20b swap . Its got full-race trac. bar set up , bdl fuel rail , ls intake manifold , and a no name header ( maybe a DC Sport cant find any markings) and a full 2 1/2 inch exhaust . I ran the car on street tires and ran a best of 15.3 at 89 mph, I was very dissapointed with that as I had a 93 hatch w/ a ls swap with about 200,000 miles on it and went 14.9. anyways I recently converted the car to obd1 with a chipped ecu from phearable.net , I havnt ran it since I have converted it but what im getting at is what would you guys recomend to get a little more power out of the n/a set-up?? FYI I do not wanna go b20 vtec ( dont trust them ) I also do not wanna boost the car. I was thinking a skunk2 intake manifold and maybe a new try y style header???? any ideas would be great . . thanks guys

heres the car . . .

What is your budget? That will dictate what you can or cannot afford to do.

go b20Vtec. have someone capable put it together and you should have no problems. new oil pump, water pump, gaskets and seals and you'll be golden. oh and dyno tune.

a header would help your current setup for sure. nothing too big though.

I am considering the b20 vtec after talking to some people but what do you guys think about maybe doing a try y header , blox throttle body and skunk 2 intake manifold???

i said the same thing when i looked at the 1st pix.

bigger TB
new manifold
new header
try to find a b20z bottem end or motor..

but i'd just go b20vtec. do it once, do it right. my brothers b20vtec wagon is running for 4 years now. raced at track and daily.

how much are you going to spend on all of that stuff? it will probably not increase the output of that engine too much. I really believe that you'll see more bang for the buck from slapping on a GS-R head, some ITR/CTR cams and a good tune.
