91 Civic DX blown clock/radio fuse.
The fuse for my clock/radio in my civic keeps blowing...i have been replacing it every day if not twice a day and dont know what the deal is. If its a short how do i find it, etc... Please help me out...Thank You...
WOW you have a 03+ honda accord civic thats also a 91????? AWESOME
15, put in many kept blowing, went up to 20 blew that one, and now back to 15 and it seems to have been holding up for the past few days. But still to be on the safe side..
i think the reason he got on your case was because you posted in the incorrect section. although the guy did take 4 days just to flame you. that's plain lame on his part.
but anyway, i wouldnt bump up to the next size fuse if you have a short. thats the ghetto and unsafe way of doing things.
perhaps you can try a different clock? track down the short... maybe the wiring harness was drilled into when someone installed a stereo? stranger things have happened.

That is exactly the reason. I just realized that the poor guy had gone unanswered for days and figured I would point him in the right direction. It was a poor way to do so and lame, sadly that's how it goes some times.
