Default 99gsr swap into a ef hatch

i swapped a 99gsr in to my car but the main problem is that i am not getting any gas to the engine i even bought a walbro 255 and i converted to obd 1when i turn the key im not getting any power to the pump but i can jump the wires at the sending unit and the pump turns on. i never had any issues before. anyone had this problem before


99gsr block ctr pistons .030 over
99 b16 head
stock p28 for now
obd0-obd1 conversion full plug and play jumper kit

main fuel relay? does it click on and off when you turn the key to ON?

Ok guys i still need your help i put in a main relay in today and still my pump is not priming i did test before i put it in the tank and everything works fine im stumped. i have checked all fuses and they are also fine

funny that u say that i did the same thing to my ef, but i have to tap the relay multiple time then it turn on>>>> dont ask why it douse that but it works for me.........my also does not make a click, i just tap and go ......lol

grounding problem.. do you have all your grounds hooked up on the motor and what not. do you have the 3 main grounds hooked up.

do you have the ground hooked up on the main harness that usually grounds above the thermostat. and from the valve cover to the bay.

yes the pump i did get from ebay but i tested the pump before i put it in and it is stronger than the oem one was, i have a ground from valve cover to frame and neg cable to tranny and i have another one on the fuel pump a lil black wire ground

and did you ground the main harness .. it usually gets grounded right above the thermostat.

If you do not have the wiring harness bolted to the thermostat housing the car WILL NOT start. Because it is not grounded. We swapped a GSR in my friends ef and he forgot that part.

i did forget to put the thermostat ground but it still did not start, i also had a broken wire on my round dizzy plug still did not start i tried the kingcu90 method and it started so i had 2 bad main relays bought a new one at autozone and it fired right up thank for the help

what wireharness u using?? and u convert to obd1, are u using obd0 injector(with resistor box) or obd1 without the resistor box. just wonder

Same thing happened to me. I've got an ODB1 LS swap in my 91 hatch.

I replaced Main relay, ECU, distributor , Fuel pump. Nothing worked.. checked all my fuses with a multimeter and it said they were fine. I finally got fed up and replaced every fuse on the entire car ~$50 from autozone and BAM... FUEL AND SPARK.. just my 2 cents.

i finally got my car started and its running however i think i need to redo my valves because thee is a slight chatter from the valve cover, im also throwing a obd1 code 14
