you search the forum for the answer to the question that has been asked dozens of times already.

 

And then people waste their time telling people to search when they can just tell them and save everyone the hassle.

Drive easy for like 600 miles according to Honda. No Vtec. There is no reason to listen to anyone except for your owners manual about things like this.

 

<sigh>

Not this again. My advice is to read the manual. If you follow the manual properly you can always put the blame on Honda for anything going wrong.

"Nah, don't listen to the manual, trust me, my buddy the mechanic tells me you don't have to break it in."
"The guys in the shipping yard destroy your car anyways, so it doesn't matter"
"I got my car with 2 miles on it, so I know nobody did a lot of damage"
"Well, that could have been a strenuous two miles"
"Well actually, they break it in at the factory, so this all doesn't matter"

 

Sell your car and buy something used.
