Default Oil In Distributer Problem

Well, i managed to get the motor back together,, it runs perfect and sounds mean like they all do ,,, But when i drive it around and go back home and look the distributer is full of oil and leaking oil too.

Has any1 else gotten the problem and how can i fix it?

I can't go to the track if the car is leaking oil

If you have oil in your distributor then the rotor shaft seal is leaking. Bad news is you cannot get the seal by itslef, at least not from Honda. Maybe if you know a good seal shop. Otherwise you must buy a new distributor housing. Or if you don't mind aftermarket, you can get a whole new distributor for less.

you have to take apart things in order for them to break ? The seal is internal, built as one with the distributor body and shaft. Seals leak when cycling through many temp changes and getting worn out. To solve this problem the 'easy' way would be to find another good working distributor.
