Default Winter tires

Just a heads-up: Tire Rack has posted information on 4 new winter tire lines introduced for the 2009-2010 season. I'll post the details in the Marketplace forum.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

Details are posted. Please note that the correct forum in the Marketplace is the Wheels, Tires, Brakes, and Suspension forum.

Thanks.

Do you have any idea how the new Continental studless will compare against the Blizzak WS60 and the X-Ice Xi2?

I know you said you'll be testing them in September, just wondering if you know anything now...

That's going to be a tough battle. The Blizzaks are AMAZING in the snow, and so are the Xi2s. Needless to say, Continental will have an uphill battle. The WinterExtremeContact has an asymmetric design, which is desirable for some people.

Continental winter tires have been sort of 'mid-range' players in the winter category. Hopefully this will change that.
